Lantern Parade - Jamaica Pond

I’m excited for fall and the annual Jamaica Plain lantern parade.  The lantern parade is an awesome family event where kids and adults dress in their Halloween costumes parading around Jamaica Pond with hand-made candlelit paper lanterns.  The lantern parade was started in1984 and has been an event growing ever since.  The event will take place this year October 18^th and 19^th, starting at the boat-house on Jamaica Pond.

Take advantage of the craft session at the Elliot School making lanterns for the parade Sunday 10/12/14 from 2p-4p this is a free event open to all ages.  The Elliot school is located at 24 Elliot Street Jamaica Plain, register for the event with EventBrite.
